Services at St. Andrew's

St. Andrew’s church building is usually open daily until dusk for prayer and reflection.

All are welcome to come into the church at any time, and also to join us at one of our services.

If you are coming to a service at St. Andrew's for the first time, then please do feel that you can ask anyone else at the service any questions you might have about the service itself or the work of the church, and/or to contact our vicar, Eleanor, or another member of the ministry team before you come. The vicarage number is 01353 725948.

Sunday Services

Our 8.00am service usually lasts about 35 minutes. It is a quiet, said service of Holy Communion with no hymns, and follows the service and readings as set out in the Book of Common Prayer.

The 10.00am service lasts about 60 minutes, and is usually a Sung Eucharist (ie Holy Communion service) using modern language. As with all our services, children are very welcome to come along and are invited to sit alongside their parents/carers in the pews, and/or to join in an organised children's activity (in the Meeting Room). In addition, we have a well-stocked children's area in church which they are welcome to move in and out of at any time.

There is a toilet at the back of the church with a potty, changing table, spare nappies and wipes.

Tea and coffee are served in church after our 10am services.
